PCM of North Platte is family-owned and operated right here in North Platte, NE. Since our business opened in 1996, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Our employees all have an agricultural background, we truely feel this gives us a better understanding of our customers needs.
Steve, owner of PCM of North Platte, is an introducing broker for R.J. O'Brien. He is a 1977 graduate of Cal-Poly State University, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science.
Steve's introduction to commodities came about initially by his involvement as an agricultural hedger. The Barger family continues to be involved in the production end of the cattle business, including grazing yearlings and cattle feeding.
Jennifer is located in Mullen, Nebraska. Jennifer also comes to PCM with a background in agriculture. She is a 1992 graduate from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Jennifer obtained her agricultural background from her family ranching operations in the heart of the Nebraska Sandhill country.

Charley, is an introducing broker for R.J. O'Brien. Charley works closely with PCM of North Platte. He is a 1977 graduate of Montana St. University at Bozeman, with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business. Prior to his becoming a broker he was a branch Manager with PCM and before that an Ag. Production and Margin Lender for a large bank system. During his time in the finance industry, Charley was involved in risk management programs for producers utilizing various hedging programs. Charley continues to be involved in the family ranching/cattle feeding business.
